Most dieters are searching for the best and safest way for quick weight loss. We found the optimum solution and can show proof.
I found a conversation exchange from Dr. Perricone about the benefits of tea on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Dr. Perricone has written several books, primarily on the subjects of weight loss. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Michigan State Univ. College of Human Medicine, from which he received his MD. He has appeared in a number of special programs on PBS.
“Oprah : Now I’ve read in your book that you said if I just replaced coffee with green tea instead, that I could lose 10 pounds in six weeks.
Dr. Perricone : Absolutely.
Oprah : Now really. How could that — what is the big deal about this?
Dr Perricone : Coffee has organic acids that raise your blood sugar, raise insulin. Insulin puts a lock on body fat. When you switch over to green tea, you get your caffeine, you’re all set, but you will drop your insulin levels and body fat will fall very rapidly. So 10 pounds in six weeks, I will guarantee it.
Oprah : I’m gonna do that. OK. That is so good! Whoo! That is great.”
Changing from coffee to tea will help you lose weight. Simple as that. Academic and scientific studies back that fact up. Tea has thermogenic properties and promotes fat oxidation way beyond what coffee has to offer.
Chinese tea drinkers had a 157% greater fat burning results compared to green tea drinkers. An ancillary effect was an 10% increase in energy.
Wuyi Tea Burns 2.5 Times MORE Calories Than Authentic Green Tea: Researchers published in Journal of Medical Investigation reporting on Japan’s University of Tokushima School of Medicine findings that Wuyi tea burns 2 times the calorie-burning results compared to drinking green tea.
Most people need to eat at least 1,200 worth of calories a day. Studies show the average person needs 1,200 calories to keep their basal rate going. You need to eat at least that much to keep from having your metabolism slow down.
We use this energy burning 60 – 70% of the calories for normal daily functions which is our resting metabolic rate (also called the basal metabolic rate). The remaining 30% is used in exercise and physical activities with roughly 10% of the caloric energy used in processing and digesting food (known as the thermic effect)
Your metabolism is the key to converting food into energy. So the idea is to keep your caloric intake within reason, have an exercise program and use Chinese oolong tea to help burn up fat tissue.
